earthquake...

We had a pretty big earthquake at midnight last night. Don't worry we are all okay! I sleeped through it, but it woke Daddy and Mommy up. It was a 6.0 on the Richter Scale and the epicenter was 61 miles from our house. Mommy said it was scary and loud. The whole house was jumping and shaking.

This is a map of Japan. We live in Misawa-shi in the Aomori Prefecture. Mommy put the yellow pin on our house. The red and orange circle is the earthquake's epicenter.

 Japan uses the Shindo scale to tell about earthquakes. This one was a 4 where we live, so stuff shook and it woke Mommy and Daddy up. I sleep through everything!
