We had to get up and go to the hospital really early and mommy didn't let me take a shower first, so I have bed head.

They gave me an E.T. finger

and took my blood pressure

Then I put on hospital PJs and gave Drew rides in my bed

And let Mommy give me some cuddles.

I got to pick what I wanted my special mask to smell like, and I chose berries. Then the anesthesiologist turned my bed into a train and gave me a ride, complete with choo-choo, back to the operating room. I was so brave, I didn't cry, and did everything they asked me to do. During my surgery they found this stuck in my right ear!!

I got a new tube in my right ear and they took the old tube out of my left ear. That tube left a "pretty big hole," so I didn't get a new tube in that ear. They also took my adenoids out. I was not a happy person when I woke up and was kicking and screaming while mommy held me. Finally I calmed down enough to yell at everyone to get out of my bed.

They wouldn't,et me leave until I peed and I was being "difficult" so we were there for a couple hours after my surgery. When they finally let me go home, I took a nap on the couch.

By the next morning I was feeling better. We had to go to the doc for a quick check up and I found out from one of the surgical assistants that I was the ONLY kiddo who didn't cry when they went back to the OR. Go me!

I hope I don't have to have anymore ear surgery ever again!
