washington, dc...

We decided to make the big trek into the city twice in one week!

Okay, it's not really a big trek. It's one little train ride away.

Here's Na-Na on the platform at Franconia-Springfield. Mommy kept yelling at her not to sit on the ground. I don't understand why not because she was allowed to sit on the ground in the Sendai train station to look at the train maps.

We sitted in the way front of the train and watched the engineer drive. It was pretty cool. I like to yell, "oh, no!" every time we go into a tunnel. And Na-Na likes to yell "Time Tunnel. Time Tunnel approaching!"

We're just cute like that.

We went to Ford's Theater and Na-Na kept asking where the movies were. She was kind of upset that we couldn't watch Planes.

We also goed to the Spy Museum and Daddy and Na-Na crawled through the duct work. I slept while Mommy carried me... I've got it made!

Daddy had to go to My Air Force Base for a class, so Mommy taked us into DC again three days later.

Here we are at the VRE station.

Mommy likes to take pictures of the Washington Monument.

First we went to the Smithsonian American History Museum. Na-Na said if we got on this train it would take us to Utah to see Big Sister, but we couldn't figure out how to sneak away from Mommy.

After we eated PB&J and a banana for lunch we went for a long walk. Here's Na-Na being crazy in front of the Washington Monument.

These two are at the World War II Memorial. I was sleeping, but you can see Na-Na in the second one.

This is the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Here's Na-Na again with the Washington Monument. But this time it's really far away.

This is what Na-Na was looking at in the last picture. It's the Lincoln Memorial. Na-Na was telling Mommy she didn't want anymore pictures.

Mommy just had to take this picture. It's kind of like a Weekend at Bernie's picture.

Na-Na is tall enough to push me, but she doesn't know how to steer! Mommy took over after she took the picture and we went home.
