We went for a drive to see the Hakkoda-Towada Gold Line. It's a mountain pass about an hour away from us and has snow walls up to 9m high!
It's pretty twisty turny in there. I'm surprised that Mommy didn't barf. She gets car sick, especially on twisty-turny uphill drives.

There was a lot of snow.
The place where there is usually the most snow was closed because it was flurrying. This year they are being very strict about closing it when it snows, but we didn't know that because today was the first day it has snowed since the pass opened for the Spring.
We had to turn around and take another road to Aomori.
Pretty high snow walls here also. Daddy said it was kind of nerve-wracking to drive through.

Since we were in Aomori, we decided to go to the Ashamushi Aquarium. Me and Maddie love it there!

The dolphins came and said hi to Maddie.
I was not so thrilled with the dolphins. They are big and scary!
Maddie drew that Mike Wazowski fish. I think she did a good job!
