asamushi aquarium. take two...

At the entrance of the aquarium there some Nebutas from the Aomori Nebuta Festival

I talked about seeing the jellyfish in the car on the way, so I was happy that we saw them as soon as we got into the aquarium!

After the jellyfish, we went through the aquarium tunnel. The big rays refused to be in our picture this year. I guess that's okay because now I have a little brother and my big sister is here visiting, so I'm not so lonely looking all by myself.

This is a cuttlefish... he is really weird looking!

This shrimp made me decide that I wanted to eat at the Royal Castle tonight because it's all you can eat Surf and Turf night.

Can you find the flounder here?

There were lots of Japanese kids here on a field trip. They said "Hi!" to me and waved. I said, "Konnichiwa!" back to them. That's how you say say "hi" in Japanese.

The touch tank is pretty fun. We picked up these clams and they moved!

We had to feed Drew Drew, so we fed us too. Daddy said since we had a big, yummy breakfast with eggs and sausage and pancakes and omelettes and toast at the Mokuteki, that we could have Pop Tarts for lunch... I think the real reason might be because we could remember what they cafe in the aquarium had for lunch.

There were lots of drink choices! We picked our drinks, ate our food, and went to the dolphin show.

One of the dolphins played beach ball with the audience!

And these guys did some jumping tricks. They jumped way high up in the sky.

After the show we went to the gift shop tried on some of the headbands. Daddy was trying to scare me, but I knew it was him because sharks don't wear glasses!

We stopped by the cafe on the way out just to see what they had. I think the Pop Tarts were the right choice! There is no English at all and some buttons didn't have pictures.

And then we went home.
